Team Joey was formed in support of 16-year-old Joey Abicca, a lifelong Encinitas resident on the road to recovery from a spinal cord injury that rendered him paralyzed from the waist down. Joey has been in intensive, exercise-based therapy and is making slow but incredible progress. His attitude and determination to walk again have helped him through many months of rehabilitation, but his path to recovery is a long one. Please join us in our journey...
