a lifelong Encinitas, California resident, on the road to recovery from a spinal cord injury that rendered him paralyzed from the waist down when he was just 14 years old.
Joey has been in intensive, exercise-based therapy and is making slow but incredible progress. His attitude and determination to walk again have helped him through months and months of rehabilitation, but his path to recovery is a long one.
